Known limitations
In the interest of honesty, here’s what Streamly doesn’t do — most often because of limits in the official APIs.
General
Section titled “General”- No video multistream / restream. Streamly does not re-broadcast your video to multiple platforms. It manages your stream (chat, moderation, title/category, overlays) across all 3 platforms — the video broadcast itself is done with your usual software (OBS…).
- No donation alerts. A/V alerts trigger on events like follow/sub/reward, not on donations.
Twitch
Section titled “Twitch”- The “live notification” cannot be edited via the API (only adjustable on Twitch).
YouTube
Section titled “YouTube”- No “game title” via the API (YouTube Studio only); only the broad category can be changed.
- Editing the title/description requires an active or scheduled live.
- No individual real-time follow events: only the follower count is reliable (so no “new follower” alert and no reliable follow trigger on Kick).
- Off-air, the displayed category/tags come from the last value applied from Streamly (the Kick API doesn’t expose them off-air).
